Warranty Policy

Last updated: September 1, 2026

At Ease & Settle, we stand behind the quality of our lighting. Products purchased directly from easeandsettle.com are covered by a one-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, subject to the terms below.

Warranty period

The warranty lasts for one year from the date your order is delivered. It applies to the original retail purchaser and is not transferable. Proof of purchase is required.

What is covered

This warranty covers manufacturing defects that arise during normal residential use, including defects in the product's materials, construction, electrical components, or included hardware.

A visible variation in the color, grain, veining, texture, or finish of natural materials such as wood, stone, or travertine is not considered a defect. These variations are part of the character of the material.

What is not covered

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear, aging, fading, patina, or cosmetic changes that do not affect function.
  • Damage caused by accident, misuse, neglect, improper cleaning, improper storage, or failure to follow the product instructions.
  • Damage caused by incorrect assembly, installation, wiring, voltage, dimmers, transformers, bulbs, or other incompatible components.
  • Products installed outdoors or in damp or wet locations unless the product is specifically rated for that use.
  • Unauthorized modifications, repairs, alterations, or replacement parts.
  • Damage caused by power surges, electrical supply issues, fire, flooding, extreme environmental conditions, or other events outside our reasonable control.
  • Consumable light bulbs unless a product listing expressly states otherwise.
  • Products purchased from an unauthorized seller or a third party.
  • Clearance, sample, or final-sale products where a different warranty is clearly disclosed before purchase.

Damage that occurs in transit is handled separately from this warranty. Please contact us promptly after delivery if your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect.

Installation requirements

Hardwired lighting must be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the product instructions and applicable electrical codes. We may request reasonable evidence of proper installation when it is relevant to a claim.

How to make a warranty claim

Please submit your claim through our Contact Us page. Include:

  • Your order number and the email address used for the order.
  • The product name and, if available, the model or SKU.
  • A clear description of the issue and when it began.
  • Clear photographs and, where helpful, a short video showing the issue.
  • Photographs of the installation and electrical connection when relevant.

Do not return or dispose of the product until we provide instructions. We may request additional information to assess the claim.

What happens after a claim is approved

If we confirm that the product has a covered defect, Ease & Settle will, at its option and subject to applicable law, repair the product, replace the defective component, replace the product, or provide another appropriate remedy. If the original product or finish is no longer available, we may offer a reasonably comparable replacement.

Any replacement product or component remains covered for the rest of the original one-year warranty period. Unless required by applicable law or agreed by us in writing, this limited warranty does not cover electrician fees, removal, reinstallation, access work, finishing work, or other labor costs.

Your legal rights

This limited warranty gives you specific rights and does not replace or limit any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
