These Terms of Service govern your use of easeandsettle.com and purchases made from Ease & Settle. By accessing the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
These Terms do not exclude or restrict rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
1. Store operator and contact

2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for providing accurate information and for protecting account credentials. Notify us promptly if you believe an account has been used without authorization.
3. Product information
We aim to describe products accurately, but screen settings, photography, production batches, and natural materials can cause differences in color, texture, grain, veining, pores, finish, and dimensions. These normal variations are not defects.
Product dimensions may have reasonable manufacturing tolerances. Confirm measurements, voltage, installation requirements, IP rating, bulb or driver compatibility, dimming compatibility, and intended location before ordering or installing a product.
4. Electrical installation and safety
Hardwired lighting must be installed, inspected, and serviced by a qualified electrician in accordance with the supplied instructions and applicable electrical codes. Do not install a product in a wet, damp, outdoor, or commercial environment unless its stated rating permits that use.
Ease & Settle is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect voltage, incompatible dimmers or drivers, improper installation, unauthorized modification, failure to follow instructions, or use outside the product's stated rating, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
5. Orders and contract formation
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An automated acknowledgment does not guarantee acceptance. We may reject or cancel an order before dispatch because of availability, payment authorization, suspected fraud, pricing or listing errors, delivery restrictions, or legal requirements. If payment has been collected for a canceled order, it will be refunded.
6. Prices, taxes, and payment
Prices and currency are displayed on the website. Applicable taxes, shipping charges, discounts, and the final total are shown during checkout. You authorize us and our payment providers to charge the selected payment method.
We may correct an obvious pricing or description error before dispatch. If a correction materially changes your order, we will ask whether you wish to proceed or cancel.
7. Availability, preorder, and made-to-order products
Availability and delivery estimates are not guarantees. Made-to-order, customized, preorder, or backordered products may require additional time. Product-specific preparation estimates and cancellation or return restrictions will be disclosed before purchase where applicable.
8. Shipping and delivery
Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy. You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Risk of accidental loss remains with Ease & Settle until the order is delivered to the address provided, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
9. Returns and refunds
Returns, cancellations, damage claims, and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Product-specific or legally required exceptions may apply.
10. One-year limited warranty
Products purchased directly from easeandsettle.com are covered by a one-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, beginning on the delivery date.
The warranty applies to the original retail purchaser and does not cover normal wear, natural material variation, misuse, accidental damage, incorrect installation, incompatible electrical components, unauthorized repair, power-supply issues, or use outside the product's stated rating. This commercial warranty does not replace rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Reviews, photographs, and feedback
If you submit a review, photograph, suggestion, or other content, you confirm that you have the right to provide it and that it is accurate and lawful. You grant Ease & Settle a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and display that content in connection with the store and its marketing, subject to applicable privacy law.
12. Intellectual property
The website and its text, graphics, logos, photographs, videos, layout, and other content are owned by or licensed to Ease & Settle and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the website only for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes unless we agree otherwise in writing.
13. Third-party services and links
The store may use or link to services operated by Shopify, payment providers, carriers, social platforms, or other third parties. Their services may be governed by separate terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party content or services outside our control, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
14. Prohibited use
You may not use the website to violate law, infringe rights, submit harmful code, interfere with security or operation, scrape the website at an abusive rate, impersonate another person, commit fraud, or submit false information.
15. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website is provided on an “as available” basis. Ease & Settle does not exclude liability for fraud, willful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
For losses that may legally be limited, Ease & Settle is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer remedies.
16. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses reasonably arising from your unlawful use of the website, infringement of another person's rights, or material breach of these Terms.
17. Events outside reasonable control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including carrier disruption, natural disaster, labor disruption, governmental action, utility or network outage, epidemic, conflict, or supply interruption. We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect on your order.
18. Severability and waiver
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
19. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available in the place where they live. Courts with lawful jurisdiction may hear a dispute. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact support@easeandsettle.com so we can try to resolve the issue.
20. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect when an order is accepted applies to that order unless a change is required by law. The latest revision date appears at the top.
